Sunday, February 3, 2013#9) FOR SALE! |Some Clothing for Sale!Due to my upcoming move to California along w/ my future molding into an eccentric Chinese housewife, I'm dumping out some of my old garments! From tops, blouses, pants, skirts, to dresses I can assure you that some of the items have been lightly used (LU) while the rest are completely untouched and are practically brand new (PBN). Prices are noted along w/ item descriptions and if you have questions about anything or would like more information please be sure to message me via Facebook or if you're one of the few who have my cell phone # please contact me there. Another thing, concerning "out-of-town" buyers, I will be more than happy to ship an item via mail, however, keep in mind that if your address is NOT in the state of Texas I will include a flat-rate shipping fee. I would really appreciate the help out :3 Thanks! I apologize for the high price of these pants (not really,no) but I'm immensely attached to them. Not only did KIKGIRL introduce these pants exclusively and ONLY in a size 1 over 7 years ago but I'm 94% sure there is only a very small quantity of these in existence as of today and mine being in such brilliant condition well, there you go. BUST-32INCHES WAIST-26INCHES HIPS-33INCHES *I highly advise that the purchaser of this item either match the above measurements EXACTLY or be under! Me and my small frame have a difficult time getting out of this dress! Thanks to Alex @ L.E.S. Photography for supplying the photos! | 5:51 PM
Tuesday, September 6, 2011#8) Funky Shibuya Dancin' Girl |I like this, a lot. There are several videos on the net of this unknown girl doing strange dyskinesia-esque dancing on the streets of Shibuya in Tokyo, however; this one is my favorite♥ Kudos to who added the music. I never understood speedxcore....it's the new "ambient", isn't it? | 8:35 PM
Thursday, August 25, 2011#7) トモダチ (Tomodachi) | What a trooper..I don't remember exactly where I first encountered this raunchy photo, but I do remember busting my butt forever trying to find out who there were! While being a fairly new band, just having released their first maxi-single "神様と鬼ごっこ。" in late June, I can't help but get the feeling that I've been listening to them forever @.@# As much as I want to reluctantly agree, no. "神様と鬼ごっこ。" is a great song! Just a personal observation, but it reminded of the first time I began listening to ayabie (I'm talking about their early stuff) and how their music used to make me feel this translucent vibe of self-discovery, yea, I can be lame. Now, "絶倫オナニストの憂鬱。", on the other hand, isn't as great, but is still pretty tolerable. In a crunchy PB&J sandwich kind of way. I'm not sure what's going on between the band now. According to their website, looks like some of the members got scratched out from the "profile" section, I'm hoping it's just something for publicity rather than a change of line-up. Ugh, gotta love the photo♥ I absolutely adore the deep, raspy-voice! Video might be a little too ecchi for me.. | 2:38 PM
Thursday, August 4, 2011#6) Dum Spiro Spero Album review |![]() After returning home from work on Monday night, I saw a link in my e-mail. A link to new Dir en grey album. I immediately thanked a religious entity, took a cold shower, made me some chocolate milk, and sat on my bed w/ my iPod (all synced and ready to go) ready to get my head blown off, just as I have done w/ three of their previous albums. My anxiety, excitement, apprehension...almost quickly sank into my stomach which had transformed into a chasm of rue. What was going wrong? Why? I realized I was in over my head w/ this album when I began to notice the fresh taste of vomit in my mouth during track #6 (Juuyoku). I started listening August 1st in the late evening and.... now after hearing the entire album several times, it still feels as if I've only heard it once...I've never been so "musically" confused. Not only do most of the -"let's experiment w/ incoherent guitar riffs and a melodically challenged attempt to capture something different"-esque songs just go out one ear and out the other (or my mouth, in this instance), I couldn't, and still can't, shake the feeling that this album was, well, rushed. Rushed like a long-awaited pee break during a colonic procedure -.-# However, despite the anal cleansing, I just realized today: the recording of this album was disrupted by the earthquake that hit Japan this March, the lyrics capture the turmoil during then and even the after effects it's still having throughout the country today. My point? Nothing, I just remembered it...haha. The unsubtle, uncomforting, hopelessness, despair, wretched, existance of this album to begin w/... These songs are almost too much to appreciate, none the less, like. This album sounds like a gift direct from Hell. Ugh, and as if the re-recordings of "Lotus" and "Hageshisa to..", weren't frightening enough -.-# I have conditioned myself to the point of nausea w/ Dum Spiro Spero. I expected too much. I have become the fool... but I'm one hell of a fool who loves to vomit♥ I really hate this album...there is not one ounce in me that can convey any positiveness about it, then again, isn't hate just another, more realistic/believable, word for "love"? Ladies and Gents, it's Dir | 7:44 PM
Thursday, May 26, 2011#5) New Dir en grey album "Dum Spiro Spero" |![]() "more savage.." ...says Kaoru, in an NME interview in which he gives details about the band's upcoming 8th studio album "Dum Spiro Spero". The title comes from the Latin phrase meaning, "While I breathe, I hope". The album will contain 14 tracks and will feature the band's two past single releases: Hageshisa To, Kono Mune No Naka De Karamitsuita Shakunetsu No Yami, Lotus, and the upcoming Different Sense (which are all just incredibly amazing [I'm already assuming Different Sense will be].) Who says todays artists don't give back to the fans? I can't wait, I just.....can't. | 8:52 PM
Wednesday, February 16, 2011#4) New ADAPTER。 Single (Please Please You) |It's quite embarrassing for me to post this news up w/ such late timing^^# However, do you really think I care? ADAPTER。's new single "Please Please You" has officially been released (as of yesterday) and my only regret is that I didn't order it w/ next day FedEx shipping >.<# This new single is going to be the...shit! This is only a 30 second preview and I'm already booty shakin' over here!! Are you hearing it? Holy shit, that's some good electro-pop! Speaking of booty shakin', I looooove watching that man doing his funky little dances! I ♥ you, Fukusuke, you lookin' good, boy... Happy B-day to me! | 9:12 PM
Saturday, July 17, 2010#3) iPod playlist no.1 - THE KIDDIE |
PERSONAL OVERVIEW: Active since 2007, THE KIDDIE are a band that have definitely defined their own name and a band I have truly underestimated over the years! Upon first hearing their single Plastic Art a couple years ago I quickly branded them under my "nothing special" category. It was definitely not a good song to start them off with. Maybe it was because of the unfavorable appearance of how I think the words "plastic" and "art" look together when side by side, or could it have been the shabby occurrence of the song itself with its unflattering tones mixed with a kind of janky caramel that seems to tangle it all into one big, tasteless candy abomination. It wasn't until a friend had re-discovered them for me and sent me a copy of their maxi-single サヨナラセツナ (Sayonara Setsuna) that I got my ass blown away by each of the songs! Similar as they may be, I was able to feel a wave of invariable pleasantness that follows through into each song like thread to a needle. The opening bass line of "so high" always gets me anxious to hear the rest of the song that I feel like my ears may go deaf at any moment while suffering the anticipation. Oh, and don't get me started on the pertinent importance of their song "恋して★DISCORD" and how it just might possibly be their second if not best song yet. With the latest release of their first full album SINGLE COLLECTION (yea, not the title I would have gone w/),their songs have proven to be a full-blown blast of bouncy escapades (except Plastic Art >.<#.) Their latest single "smile." is how a bubblegum Japanese rock group gets their shit done! (this is one song that will not be easy to shake out of your head.) Meanwhile, their upcoming single Calling is due for release in late September, I definitely can't wait! Yusa's voice may not exactly be butter, but I can confidently admit that it is rather the chocolate syrup that runs down my brownie cake into a pool of swirling vanilla ice cream. THE KIDDIE seem to have a lot going for them; they are bright, peppy, impelling, and innocent while retaining to have enough libido to go around for all their not so innocent of fans. THE KIDDIE, a kind of bubblegum we can get stuck in yet sweet enough to keep us wanting more. Check out Yusa shaking his ass everywhere!
